Ooma Office expands capacity for greater flexibility

PALO ALTO, CA - Tuesday, May 5th, 2015

Ooma, Inc., a leading smart business and home communications platform, today announced it’s expanding the capacity of Ooma Office to support up to 20 users. Users can answer calls coming in to their Ooma Office number on their analog desk phone, a remote phone number and a mobile phone, making it easy for them to stay connected to customers and colleagues from anywhere, on any device.

“Enabling users to receive Ooma Office calls on so many different devices ensures they stay connected both inside and outside the office, while eliminating costly upgrades by letting them use the equipment they already have,” said Dennis Peng, vice president of product management at Ooma.

Small businesses can link multiple Base Stations to one Office account to support up to 20 phones in a single office. Each Base Station supports up to five phone extensions through the combination of the built-in phone port and four wireless Linx devices. New expansion Base Stations can be added to work in conjunction with users’ existing Base Station unit – no replacement hardware is necessary to take advantage of this new feature.

The new expanded platform provides the flexibility of enterprise solutions at just $9.99 per user per month. Each of the 20 users can be set up to support an individual user across multiple devices, a virtual fax number or a conference bridge.
