(NYSE: OOMA), a smart communications platform for small businesses and consumers, announced today it was added to the Russell 2000® and Russell 3000® Indexes following Russell Investments’ reconstitution of its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity indexes. The Russell 2000® Index is a subset of the Russell 3000® Index composed of small-cap stocks. The newly reconstituted indexes took effect after the close on Friday, June 23.
Russell indexes are the leading US equity benchmarks for investment managers and institutional investors, and make up the building blocks of a broad range of financial products, such as index tracking funds, derivatives, and exchange traded funds (ETFs). $8.5 trillion in assets are benchmarked to or invested in products based on the Russell US indexes.
