Working well, saving money.

Coming up on retirement, so am looking at all expenses. The landline was costing around $65/month. Got a good deal on my Ooma hardware, and paid for the Premium Services up front, so no cost to port my number. My Return on Investment will be realized in just 4 months. The setup was easy. Voice quality is no different--the VOIP is as clear as the landline. I'm hopeful that there will be more features in the future--I'd love the ability to answer a call, and with the press of a keystroke on the handset, send the incoming number to my restricted list. The speaker on the main unit is a bit noisy when listening to voicemail, but other than that, it has been a home run for us.

We grew weary of the telephone utility gouging us every time we turned around, it seemed like. We decided to try Ooma, and we've been quite pleased so far. We ported over our phone number, and that transition also went quite well. Maybe one of these days the telephone utility will get their "ducks in a row", but I'm not holding my breath.

I have had Ooma for a month now.So far it has been more reliable than Magicjack or Nettalk. The voice quality is also louder and clearer. It costs a little more than Google voice, but so far it has been worth it.

I was very pleased with how easy the process was. The quality of the phone service is comparable to what I had paid for through the cable company.

I have had ooma for about a month so far and it works great. I have been telling my friends and family how great it works and of course the price is super. Thank you. Paul

I've been using it ONLY internationally so far and results - WiFi and prepaid - have so far been better than any other comparable device. Normally, very good quality audio.

Ooma Home phone system, I love it! And we just use the basic service we have awful internet & the Ooma still works great! When our internet is going real slow there can be a delay when placing a call, but hey for $5.53 a month I can deal with that here and there.Thank you Ooma!
Experience with my Ooma Service
To Whom It May Concern,I have had Ooma for about two months and I cannot be more please. The voice quality is excellent and you were timely in porting my previous phone number on to Ooma.Whenever, I need help, your customer care has been outstanding. Obviously the cost cannot be beat.Thank you for a wonderful Ooma experience.Ted Wong
All is well, but phone call quality is sub-par.

I switched my home phone from a land line to the Ooma. Bottom line is I'm happy with everything except the phone call quality. It is about 80% of what the normal land line was. I am hoping that this will improve with updates? I can't currently recommend this if you are hard of hearing. Once they fix the "mushy" sound, then it's thumbs up.
